First and foremost, I am not against capitalism. It is my ideal that free enterprise allows for growth and eventually, strength. Monopoly Capitalism squelches the free enterprise system by eliminating healthy competition in the market place. Liberal legislators have sought to create big government, to be able to write endless laws that protect the interests of great big money.
These laws can now be likened unto an ocean of spaghetti noodles, intertwined and hopelessly leading no where for the commoner, or the upstart in business. To give some insight into how monopolists have caused great harm to America, I am going to cover briefly some points in our history that you have simply not been taught.
George Washington soundly defeated Cornwallis at Yorktown Virginia, and set this nation upon the road to greatness. But, This is not what ended the Revolutionary War, and America did not beat down the most powerful empire ever seen before or since. (Remember, the sun never set upon the British Empire). The Revolutionary War was ended by a legal instrument called, The Paris Treatise.
The Paris Treatise was like most other legal business instruments, It was a business compromise. It allowed the banking interests of King George to access their American satellite offices in New York, and allowed big money interests to create monopolies by loaning money to investors in the western lands of America. (Remember, the western lands at that time, were anything west of the original states). American Bankers jumped at the chance to invest, and soon borrowed large sums of money to be able to grab even more lands. And major problems started here.
Americans were not as quickly prolific to these new lands as the speculators had hoped. Debts became due, but not enough profit was being made to subsidize debt payments. And many of America’s big bankers were cast into poverty because of default. This threw the fledgling American economy into complete disarray. And this time in history is where certain world monopolists were allowed to gain solid footholds on our precious country. It has remained so until this very day.
You can learn more about this in the history of the years 1797 and 1798. A time when it was said that a wagon load of money would not buy a sack of provisions.
This is my very first blog post ever. I am completely green at this. I hope to continue this topic, and add to it with links to the facts that will back up my claims. I can do little more than state the obvious, But I may just state something that has not been taught, or brought to the attention of modern Americans. That is my hope, and the issue that keeps me going. Any of my summaries will be based upon facts. If I stray from the facts, I am completely open to anyone who can set my feet upon solid standing.
This is installment number one on a continuing topic. Thank You For Stopping By, and please link others to this blog. I aim to earn your respect and your trust…
